We made a Success of it! Let’s Do Another!

After the tremendous success of the first games day we had at Theydon Bois back in August (You can check out the photos for that day on the gallery linked below!). We will be Holding another Event in November! Below is everything you need to know so far please give it a read!.

This little blog post is just an announcement that we will be doing a second Warhammer Event/Get together. The format will be very similar to our first event but we will be doing 2 events at 2 points levels running simultaneously
Event 1- The 40k 1000 point Singles event this is for more the beginner players/members of our collective groups and those who want to take their time or have not really grasped the 10th ed rules fully yet. 2.5 hour games+longer breaks in between
Event 2- The 40K 2000 point Singles Event is for the more experienced player or those play more often and can play faster. The Game times will be longer but you will have a hard stop on your games, so an emphasis to not waist time is on the players. 3 hour game times hard cap time and slightly shorter breaks.
The idea for the day is to have a friendly get together and run a small competition of Warhammer 40k, but we will have a decent breakfast and lunch as we have cooking facilities. An example of what we did last time is below. I might change this about a little but it gives you an idea.
8:30am arrival
Tea or coffee
Yoghurt + Crassant + Cookie
11:30am Late Breakfast
Sausage sarny- chicken or pork
3pm Lunch
Burger and Chips + Salad
I have organised the hire of a hall in Theydon Bois and will have access to the hall all day but I’m going to work out the competition times and work out when we need exactly. We will play 3 games across the day with time to stop for tea/ coffee and lunch in-between so its not a mad rush!
There will be small little competition trophies for the winners of various catogory’s which I will announce in a later blog alongside other details and a players guide to the event once I finish writing it.

Again in the interest in transparency There is a entry fee of £40 for the day to cover hall hire, Food + Drinks, Depending on interest and numbers for the day some small prize support + Trophies and possibly use the money to buy extra tables and scenery for this event and future events.
