About the events in 2025!

General Overview

In 2025 D6 Games will be creating a full calendar of premium events with at least 1 event per month. As a organiser i want to put on the best possible experience for my players as physically possible. We will continue to run 1 day events in 2025 as this type of event is very manageable for allot of players diary’s. I will also continue to do my best to provide fully cooked meals for all players on the day as part of the experience. We will be leaning quite heavy into Warhammer 40K as a game system as the majority of our player base plays that format, but that being said there will be scope and room to run smaller games across the year. To prepare you for the full calendar i am listing our events into 4 category’s. Each category should give you an idea of how the day will play out and also the registration process for each type of event. Category’s listed below.

Narrative Events

D6 Narrative events will give me a chance to flex my creative muscles and try and put some fun events together with wildly different formats or game sizes all in 1 day. In 2025 we will be holding the Narrative events in Theydon Bois (this is mostly down to hall hire options) all the events will link to create an evolving story campaign a ending with a big final showdown! These narrative events will follow the registration process outlines in the first blog here but players might be encouraged to play factions that fit the story.

Competitive Events

2025 will see the start of D6 games entering into the official ITC system. The Warhammer 40K 2000 point event (which will be the most frequent feature of our calander) will be eligible for ITC points. We should be nicely positioned to run a full 24 man RTT with matching terrain on all tables from February. Being ITC registered will likely bring in more players to the events and with that comes the importance of getting your self registered when the events go live to the original community as stated in the first blog linked here.

Open Events

Any Event you see in the 2025 calendar that has the Open in the title will have a more open registration time for the general public. Instead of the standard 4 weeks these events will have a 8 week viewing period on BCP for the general public. For 2025 the Open tag will be limited to the 4 Doubles Events in the event calander.

Invitational Events

Any Event you see in the 2025 calendar that has the Invitational in the title will have a severely restricted registration process these events will be special and only those invited will be able to play in them. For 2025 the Invitational tag will be limited to the clash of county team events, champion of champion events.
